Updating insurance and other compliance items

Compliance items — insurance certificates, trade accreditations — need to be current to stay active on the network.

Steps

Open your dashboard.
Go to Compliance. You'll see your current certificates listed with their expiry dates.
Upload renewals. When you've renewed a policy or accreditation, upload the new certificate. The platform replaces the old version with the new.
The platform verifies. Most renewals process automatically; some are reviewed by our build team. We'll let you know if anything needs more information.

What's tracked

Public liability insurance (£5m minimum).
Employer's liability insurance (£5m minimum).
Professional indemnity (if you carry it).
Builders' all-risk (if you carry it).
Trade accreditations — Gas Safe, Part P (NICEIC, NAPIT), CSCS, others.
Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) / Value Added Tax (VAT) credentials if applicable.

Tracking expiries is on you

The platform doesn't automatically remind you when a certificate is about to expire. Track your renewal dates yourself and upload the new certificate as soon as you have it. If you'd like a system reminder, set one in your own calendar — most builders do.

What happens if a certificate lapses

If a required certificate (Public Liability (PL), Employers' Liability (EL)) lapses without a renewal uploaded, the platform pauses new lead allocation to you. You'll be notified. Live projects continue but you can't take on new ones until the certificate is reinstated.

Other compliance items

Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM)-compliance items (Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)) are project-specific rather than profile-level — they live with each project rather than your profile.
