About the role

You will be the second marketing team hire and be instrumental in building a best-in-class brand. This role sits within a fast-paced and energetic start-up, where your impact will be significant and rewarding.

What you'll be doing

  • As the first Social Media Manager, an incredible opportunity to lead on strategising and implementing our social media and content programme from scratch.

  • Own and expand our social media channels, including: generating content, staying abreast of trends, increasing reach, and driving meaningful engagement, with the ultimate goal of driving new leads.

  • Create and develop a content calendar across social channels and blog, by developing new and creative content, continuous scheduling and posting.

  • Responsible for generating Case Studies of completed projects - shooting assets, generating content and populating across our marketing channels and collateral.

  • Drive relevant partnerships to drive brand relevance and equity and increase our reach and engagement amongst key audiences.

  • Drive and engage our Beams Community, activating and fostering brand ambassadors, generating UGC and word-of -mouth marketing to drive referrals.

  • Strategize and execute our influencer marketing programme: identity and manage influencers, maintain relationships and a focus on continuous optimisation for key performance against metrics.

  • Stay on top of interiors and home trends, consumer interest and behaviours, and the cultural landscape to ensure consumers experience our brand in relevant and compelling ways.

  • Support wider marketing campaigns, including press and partnerships to support 360 marketing.

  • Manage KPIs and budget - owning metrics, generating insights via social listening and producing reports for the business.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years in a social media role, ideally a B2C company or in an agency working with hands-on experience working on brand and performance marketing campaigns.

  • Experience in growing social channels, planning and launching social media campaigns, including but not limited to Partnerships, Ads, Community Engagement, etc.

  • Experience working with influencers and community members to drive referrals.

  • Knowing how to deliver on-brand creative that cuts through and resonates with audiences.

  • Video editing, graphic design, image-editing, and related creative skills, ideally with the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent copywriting skills and an ability to brand voice with clarity and conciseness with an ability to convey messages that captures attention and interest.
