Job Description
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
London, UK | Full-time
Our story
Beams is on a mission to make home renovation simpler and greener. We’re doing this by building a revolutionary technology platform and marketplace for homeowners and contractors so they can plan, design and build all in one place.
Backed by top-tier investors, Giant Ventures and Firstminute Capital, and with an experienced leadership team from Bulb, Bloom & Wild and Bumble, Beams is primed to disrupt the $450 billion European renovation market.
From the moment the customer starts to plan their renovation and selects their design, to final completion, the Beams platform offers a seamless journey, allowing homeowners to take a backseat and oversee construction, while Beams-vetted contractors deliver projects tailored to their clients’ tastes.
Removing the complexity and hidden costs for both customer and contractor, the business solves the UK’s pressing renovation issues: finding the right service provider, simplifying the complexity of large-scale projects with integrated design and project management tools, and managing payments to complete the job.
Beams dramatically reduces the environmental impact of construction by sourcing sustainable materials and incorporating cutting-edge energy efficiency measures in its designs. We’re a pending B Corp and in the process of applying for full B Corp membership.
This is a unique opportunity to completely overhaul the UK’s attitude to interior design and renovation. We’re building all processes and systems from the ground up, cultivating a community of top-quality contractors, attracting users to the platform, and building a sophisticated supplier ecosystem to support each home renovation.
We’re seeking a skilled strong Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and help us bring this vision to life.
