At Beams all our cabinetry and cupboards are made to fit the unique needs of each kitchen. This means there’s no option we can’t offer to create your dream space, be it shaker or slab, ribbed walnut or white stain oak, our designers work with you to realise your dream cabinet setup.
Our kitchen cabinets are hand-crafted and manufactured in London, meaning reduced carbon emissions in their creation and arrival at your home and a knowledge of your kitchen type by their maker.
Our cabinetry:
1. Shaker cabinets
Shaker cabinets incorporate simple, clean lines with a recessed centre panel and minimal adornment. These cabinets are versatile, and can feature comfortably in any traditional, contemporary, or modern kitchen. They work well in both small and large spaces due to their timeless design.
2. Flat-panel (slab) cabinets
Slab cabinets have smooth, flat doors without any frames or panels. Usually made from solid wood or laminate. They’re ideal for modern, contemporary, and minimalist kitchens; creating a sleek, streamlined look.
3. Inset cabinets (including inset shaker cabinets)
Inset cabinets have doors and drawers that sit flush with the cabinet frame, requiring precise craftsmanship. These are best for traditional and classic kitchens. Often found in high-end kitchens due to their custom and precise fit.
4. Plywood cabinets
Made from layers of wood veneer glued together, plywood cabinets are known for their strength and durability. Versatile, they work in modern, contemporary, and traditional kitchens. Often used for a sustainable and sturdy kitchen solution.
5. Metal cabinets
Made from stainless steel, aluminium, or other metals, metal cabinets often have a sleek, reflective surface.Ideal for industrial, modern, and contemporary kitchens they provide a professional and clean look.
6. Open shelving
Instead of traditional cabinets, open shelves are used to store and display items. They work well in modern, industrial, and farmhouse kitchens and help to create an open, airy feel and are great for showcasing beautiful kitchenware.

Additionally, we use top-tier plywood for cabinet boxes, which offers superior strength compared to particleboard or MDF. Our materials are sourced from trusted suppliers who share our dedication to quality and sustainability, guaranteeing that each cabinet not only looks stunning but also stands the test of time.
We complement our wood selection with the fine hardware and finishes. Our hinges, drawer slides, and handles are sourced from industry-leading manufacturers, ensuring smooth operation and a luxurious feel.
We offer a range of finishes, from hand-applied stains that enhance the natural beauty of the wood to durable, eco-friendly paints that provide a flawless finish. Every cabinet undergoes a meticulous finishing process to achieve a rich, consistent colour and a protective layer that resists wear and tear.
Contractors
Part of having a bespoke setup is having a process that suits your routine and needs. We take the time to vet our contractors and have a thorough onboarding program. All contractors have at least ten years experience working with bespoke kitchens for London homes, so they understand the nuances of custom design.

It takes around 6-8 weeks of work once timelines are agreed for a kitchen project to be carried out and we’ll work to make least disruption around your day-to-day.
Sign-off
You get final say too. We take final payment only when you’re happy with the work that’s been carried out and that you’re satisfied your bespoke kitchen has been made to the exact letter of your specifications.
