Our vetting process

Every Beams contractor has passed a 6 stage onboarding programme. This helps us find you contractors who are great on quality and great on communication.

And once your renovation is finished, we have a 7 day satisfaction guarantee, so you can rest easy.

  • We shortlist the top 1% of the Federation of Master Builders.

  • We interview contractors about their experience, finances, tidiness, punctuality, waste management, workmanship and more.

  • Beams’s construction experts check the contractor’s workmanship.

  • We visit an ongoing renovation project, where we:

    1. inspect the quality of the contractor’s renovations and finishings

    2. see how they manage dust and debris

    3. meet their teams

    4. find out what they’re like on site

    5. speak to a current customer

  • All Beams contractors have a minimum of:

    1. Public Liability Insurance: £5 million

    2. Employer’s Liability Insurance: £10 million

    3. Contract Works Insurance: £1 million

    They have also agreed to Beams’ Sustainable Material Commitment and our Landfill Diversion Pledge.

We schedule deliveries in batches, to make things simpler for you, and greener for everyone.
