Beams is a new renovation platform. We make your renovation project simpler and greener. We offer a seamless, end-to-end service to plan, design and build every room in your home.

While we’re renovating your home, we also make it more energy efficient, to lower your bills and your CO2 emissions. All our renovations come with a complete home energy assessment and all our designs incorporate the latest technology in insulation, heat recovery and more.

Plan

Drawing on data from over 4,000 building projects, our planners take the time to understand your goals and provide precise timelines and cost estimates tailored to your project. At the start of your project, we’re able to predict with 5-10% accuracy what the total cost and timing of your project will be. We take the guesswork out of the equation.

Our project management dashboard gives you access to up-to-date information about your renovation. You’ll know what’s happening every step of the way.

Design

We’ve worked with award-winning interior designer Fran Hickman to create beautiful designs that are easy and practical to build. You may have an exact design in mind, with a Pinterest board to match. Or perhaps you want to be inspired and guided through the process. Either way, our in-house designers will help you find your style and bring your dream home to life.

We use the latest in 3D rendering technology to give both you and your contractors a precise vision of what the end result will look like, before we’ve even laid down the dust sheets.

Build

Finding the right contractor can be daunting so we’ve done the vetting for you. And with every project we complete, we gather detailed information on how our contractors are performing so we can help them improve and make sure our customers are getting the best experience. 

We’ve also built our own supply chain of reliable materials suppliers, and we manage the delivery of materials so your building phase goes to plan. 

We will quality check the contractor’s work and make sure it meets our quality standards. If you’re unhappy at the end of your project, you’ll get your support fee back.
